I have worked with all the "big names" as well as most of the areas smaller "best kept secrets". Hands Down Vinny and hes team are the first I recommend! When hiring your DJ for any event, particularly a wedding, cost should NOT be the deciding factor.REGARDLESS of your budget! For any special event, you want your guests to walk away saying they had the time of their life. The food, decorations, and location all play a roll in this, BUT the mood that is created through out the night, and the energy in the room, is what will make or break your event! Anyone can stand behind a table with the awesome playlist you created and a Ipod or laptop. BUT if you want your event to be a true success, you need your MC to get right in the mix of things. Your MC should create that fun atmosphere, get the crowed up and moving, and actually represent your personality all while meeting the needs of your guests. Not everyone can do this in a effortless, seamless way. I have seen many great DJs in action but their performance seems no different then the others. Good, but not fantastic. Nothing that stands out and "WOWs" you. I have also seen some not so great performances. I have in fact ended up MCing events because as a event planner, I knew what was needed and recognized the DJ wasnt bringing it. This is not a mistake you want to make to save a few bucks! St. Catherine\'s Center for Children\'s annual spring fundraiser was a celebration of the film, Grease.
